Echoes of Karoonjhar is documenting and digitising various forms of cultural expression found within the Sindh region, collaborating with a diverse range of artists from across Pakistan. The project encompasses sound, music, folklore, myths, and rituals and seeks to deepen understandings of the cultural tapestry of Nagarparkar, in the Karoonjhar Mountains.
The resulting artistic creations will be compiled into a comprehensive digital archive, ensuring their accessibility and preservation for future generations to appreciate and learn from. The project will host a public showcase in both Pakistan and the UK. This showcase will feature the digital database, aiming to promote Karoonjhar's cultural heritage on a global scale. The project aims to foster cross-cultural appreciation and understanding while celebrating the unique artistic legacy of the Karoonjhar Mountains.
