If You Go Away

If You Go Away is a GPS powered art game, experienced via an app and navigated by walking in the real world at dusk. Starting in galleries, the work takes you on an augmented journey through the streets made strange and new, haunted by the echoes of the city before, the city now and the city to come. If You Go Away is a reflection on belonging, and climate changed futures.

If You Go Away is a site specific artwork delivered through an app. Through the work you navigate and negotiate two layered geographies that of the real and the virtual world, finding the echoes and the fault lines that connect and separate the two.
Audiences co-inhabit a virtual landscape overlayed onto the city in a work about presence, notions of belonging and climate changed futures. If You Go Away is a spatial sound, text and animation based experience tagged by GPS to real world locations.
